When it comes to China-related political issues, everything seems to be polarized. Searching for some information about Shen Yun, the Chinese performing arts show tour, we will inevitably reach both acclamation and denouncement, and it’s pretty easy to see that the denouncement comes mainly from mainland China.
But probably we do not need more talks on the political motives in the backstage. It’s definitely better just to appreciate the beauty of Shen Yun and also of its dancers.
As someone has said, dancing has its own language that comprises 5 elements: movement, formation, turn, physique and emotion. With Shen Yun, these 5 elements meet all the possible expectations.
To be a good dancer, I think one must be born with some talent; and at the same time, it requires tons of training and practice. Adventurousness and creativity are also needed. Watching the video What it takes to be a Shen Yun dancer, albeit a little too PR content directed of a video, I could see how hard a Shen Yun dancer must try to deliver the performances at such level of unbelievable precision.
And, yeah, male dancers in general, with their slim fit body type and elegant curves, are simply beautiful creatures.
